Tactical Shotgun

The shotgun is known as one of the most formidable close range weapons in the modern law enforcement and protection specialist arsenal. The shotgun is a versatile weapon capable of fine accuracy with rifle slugs at longer ranges. Although frequently carried by law enforcement personnel and high tech security personnel, the shotgun’s capabilities are rarely understood. During this course, we will focus on developing the student’s technical skills with the shotgun and an understanding of the technical advantages of the weapon. This course features intensive combat shooting drills and focuses on the shotgun as a versatile weapon for special situations.

    • Combat loading drills
    • Proper gun mounting exercises
    • Ballistic effects
    • Weapon and ammunition selection
    • Multiple target drills
    • Close quarter shooting positions
    • Tactical ammo change
    • Combat shooting drills/barricades
    • Low light shooting drills
    • Use of cover and concealment
    • Live fire practical exercises
    • Precision shooting with rifle slugs

  • Program Duration

    This course runs for 24 hours over a three (3) day period.

  • Price

    This course costs $850 with a $350 required deposit.

    Gear Ammunition
    • Shotgun, pump-action or auto loading, 12 gauge, with attached sling for safe carry.
    • Ear and eye protection
    • Ammo pouch
    • For police officers, duty weapon and holster
    • 250 rounds of #7 ½ shot
    • 60 rounds of .00 Buck shot
    • 30 rounds of rifle slugs
    • For police officers, 250 rounds of handgun ammo
    • No reloads
